Duncan Stickings

Biography

Duncan Stickings is Head of Development at Strong Tower Consulting. His background spans more than 20 years of software development, with extensive project management and quality assurance experience.

Duncan was formerly head of Training and Installation for Maddocks Systems, which later joined with TMW. In that role he coordinated installations, training, and go-lives for transportation and logistics clients across North America. That inside view of carrier go-lives runs through how Strong Tower plans, tests, and delivers technology projects today.

What Duncan brings to clients

• Development depth. Two decades of building and maintaining software, which means a clear understanding of what a system can and cannot be made to do.
• Quality assurance. Disciplined testing before anything reaches production: upgrades, custom code, interfaces, and data conversions.
• Installation and go-live experience. Coordinating installs, training, and go-lives across North America, so cutover plans account for the real problems that show up on day one.
• Project management. Scope, schedule, and communication that keep everyone, from dispatch to the back office, working from the same plan.
